   WHY USE IT

Because your health is your most precious treasure, and it begins with food. PESTEST is used to detect residues and levels of organophosphate and carbamate pesticides, common synthetic pesticides. It helps you understand the product quality of the markets you shop at and gain insights into your health. The food industry deserves a value beyond advertising and marketing. Only information can provide this. For more details, please visit our blog.

HOW TO USE

Cut the food samples into small pieces and place them in a small bowl. Add enough distilled water to lightly cover them. Shake the samples thoroughly with water and mix. Wait 2 minutes and mix again. Remove the protective film from the room-temperature detection card. Completely immerse the white circle in water for 3 seconds, making sure the brown circle does not touch the water. After removing the card from the water, let it sit for ten minutes. Then, fold the card so that the circles overlap and squeeze it between two fingers for three minutes. Evaluate the results according to the template provided.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What is Pestest and what is it used for?

Pestest is a home pesticide testing kit that detects pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables. It indicates chemical residues in foods by color change within 15 minutes.

2. What chemicals does the test detect?
Pestest specifically detects organophosphate and carbamate pesticides, which are among the most widely used agricultural pesticides worldwide.
3. How can the test result be understood?
A color change is observed during the test. The colored indicator allows you to quickly determine if residue is present. You can see the results by using the color correspondences found in the user manual.
4. How reliable are the results?
Designed for home use, Pestest detects the presence of pesticides with high sensitivity. However, the results are for preliminary screening and are not a substitute for official laboratory analysis.

5. How many tests can be performed with one test kit?
A box contains 5 separate test cards. Each is single-use and can be used separately on different foods.
6. In which foods can I use it?
Pestest is designed for use on fresh fruits and vegetables. It can be tested on all unwashed produce, with or without its shell.
7. Is any special preparation required before use?
No. Simply sample the food and process the cards according to the recipe. The process takes 15 minutes in total.
8. Does the product have an expiration date?
Yes. Because the cards in the kit contain chemicals, they have a shelf life of approximately 12–18 months from the date of manufacture. Storage conditions are specified on the packaging.
9. What should I do if the test result is positive?
This indicates that the food may contain pesticide residue. It's recommended that you wash the produce thoroughly, peel it if necessary, and avoid consuming it if you find it risky. You can find detailed cleaning methods on my blog.

10. What are the conditions for returning and exchanging the kit?
Returns and exchanges are possible for unused and unopened products within 14 days. Detailed information can be found on our "Returns and Delivery Conditions" page.
